Pako’s career began at Stanbic Bank, where he started in the Sales department. His natural affinity for writing and communication soon caught the attention of his line manager, who recommended him for a Credit Origination role. This marked the beginning of a specialized focus on credit analysis, a field in which Pako would go on to build significant expertise.


Over the years, Pako has held key credit roles within several leading banks, including First National Bank, BancABC, and Access Bank. His extensive experience in facilitating complex transactions has seen him work on projects ranging from shopping malls and large office complexes to trade deals across Africa. These accomplishments showcase his ability to handle high-stakes financial transactions with professionalism and precision.


Currently, Pako serves as the Head of Credit at BBS Bank. In this capacity, he continues to demonstrate his leadership and deep understanding of credit management, contributing to the bank’s growth and stability.



Beyond his banking responsibilities, Pako is passionate about sharing his knowledge and empowering others. He has guest lectured on Credit Analysis at the Botswana Accountancy College and has served as a panelist on platforms such as the Pula Pitch and the African Youth in Business TV shows. His commitment to development extends beyond the workplace—he is actively involved in coaching audiences on financial literacy, MC'ing events, and speaking at forums like the 2nd Annual Corporate Governance Summit.
