RDC Property Group (RDC), a leading property investment, management and development company in Botswana, has appointed Ms. Benedicta Abosi as its new Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO), further strengthening its finance leadership team as the Group continues to pursue its growth and investment strategy.
The appointment highlights RDC’s ongoing focus on financial discipline, strong governance, and sustainable long-term value creation across its property portfolio.
Ms. Abosi is an accomplished accountant and finance executive registered with the Botswana Institute of Accountants (BICA). She holds a Bachelor of Accountancy degree and is a qualified Chartered Accountant, having completed both ACCA and ICAEW professional qualifications. She has also completed the Advanced Management Development Programme at the University of the Witwatersrand as well as the Executive Development Programme at Stellenbosch University.
With more than 19 years of post-qualification experience across multiple jurisdictions, Ms. Abosi brings extensive expertise in finance leadership, investment oversight, and corporate governance. She previously served as Associate Director at KPMG and Chief Financial Officer at the Botswana Development Corporation (BDC), where she played a key role in strengthening financial governance, supporting strategic investments, and driving organisational transformation.
In her new role at RDC, Ms. Abosi will be responsible for leading the organisation’s financial strategy, capital allocation framework, and risk management function. Her appointment is expected to further enhance the Group’s executive finance capability as it expands its property portfolio and continues to focus on delivering sustainable growth and shareholder value.
